I Don't Understand

I've had this image in my head for a while now, so when I read a manga recently that had the exact pose I wanted in it, I finally decided to draw it.

Kyle so badly wants to help Endri and get him to open up and talk about his problems, but Endri's just too tight-lipped about everything.

I wanted to show a moment of tense calmness for them as well as show Kyle's immense kindness and willingness to help. (Lots of -ness's ) Of course, listening to Lady GaGa's songs "Starstruck" and "Paparazzi" helped this image a lot too.

I also tried to dress up the line art with textures, brushes, and highlights, so it wouldn't be a boring black and white pencil drawing. I think it worked out okay.
